The Summer Soirée did not disappoint. Hosted at The Luminary in Peoria IL, this event was full of energy, beautiful faces, and local businesses I’ve admired for years. Being invited as the event photographer was such an honor, and a refreshing change of pace from my usual family and branding sessions.

The night kicked off with a ribbon cutting alongside the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, marking another milestone for The Luminary’s owner (and my sister!) Lyndsie. Watching her build a thriving business that prioritizes community, a positive environment, quality care, and collaboration has been inspiring and amazing to watch.

From there, the Soirée really came alive:

  • Drinks flowed from Clink Bar and Events

  • The charcuterie spread was basically art

  • Guests mingled, networked, and celebrated the summer in style

  • Local businesses like Trendy Truckers, Sun and Strand, Blossom Acres, Love and Lavender, Hunny House, and Paige Statz Photo (aka me!!!) helped set the vibe

My goal for this event was to capture attendees with their loved ones, network, socialize, and have FUN. I was able to meet so many wonderful people, have so many wonderful conversations, take 3 SD card’s worth of photos, and watch my sister’s business flourish while she supported me by inviting me to be a part of such a fun evening.

I’m so grateful to everyone who stepped in front of my lens. Whether you came with friends, family, or solo, you all sure brought the energy.
